Brigitte Engel

I’m Brigitte (though many people know me as Bibi), and I work as a Property Design Consultant, helping homeowners and property owners make confident, considered decisions about their spaces.

I’ve always been drawn to interiors and the way colour, texture and scale shape how we feel in a space. The balance between boldness and restraint. These relationships are where atmosphere begins.

I look for what gives a space balance, then guide the decisions that bring that balance to life.

After working in advertising and media, I naturally gravitated toward creating interiors.

As a Property Design Consultant, I guide both homeowners and property owners through the process of refining their spaces. My work combines instinct with structure — creativity grounded in considered decision-making.

Whether the brief is a rental property, a private home or a creative campaign, I aim to create environments that feel exciting yet composed. I think about composition, atmosphere and what it means for a space to feel alive.

Outside of work, I love exploring interiors through the spaces I’m drawn to personally — from my own home to the caravan and tipi, and the occasional character-filled hotel discovered while travelling. Often accompanied by my two whippets, who have the advantage of looking elegant in almost any setting.
